The Pragmo’tive Is ‘II” Chill Out; was written with the majority of the working classes in mind; the adults of 30 years+ who go through a lot of stress everyday; working hard to survive, or to get ahead in life. When it’s all said and done, we all need to slow down and relax…..to CHILL OUT.

This Chill Out album is best enjoyed; ‘while you drive to work - while you work - while you drive from work – and while you relax from work’.

Pragmo N’Saiga is one of the best (yet overlooked) available musicians in Uganda. His uniqueness comes from his ability to be comfortable in nearly all contemporary genres of music. Jazz, Classical, Gospel, Reggae, Afro beat, R n B, Country, the Blues etc. Above all, he is not just an impeccable Pianist; he is a good songwriter, arranger and producer.

All the songs on this album were written by both Pragmo N’Saiga and TShaka Mayanja (BlackRoots UNLIMITED. The album was produced by TShaka Mayanja.

After the ‘risk’ TShaka Mayanja took to release the albums Dark Chocolate (showcasing K’Angie Mtume – Angela Kalule) and Reggaeology, he felt it was time he took yet another ‘risk’ to support yet another incredible Ugandan talent. According to many Ugandans in the music industry, it was a so-called risk since ‘there’s no place for this kind of music in Uganda’.

Pragmo N’Saiga is a frustrated artist. Talented musicians in Uganda are all ‘dying of frustration’. When a radio station, or a music distributor tells an artist that ‘your music is too good for the Ugandan public’, you wonder what the future holds for REAL MUSICIANS.

These two words; ‘talented’ and ‘musician’, are often misused in Uganda today. Pragmo N’Saiga is THE TRUE definition of both.

BlackRoots UNLIMITED is doing its part in putting these talents on a pedal stool, setting them up for the road to success. Pragmo is amazing. He’s been around the mill of frustration and pain for far too long; it is now his time to shine.
And shine he will!
